Easter Eggs

silly symphonies
- From the Main Menu select "Nature on Screen"
- From "Mother Pluto" go Right to highlight a star on one of the bunnies' face.
- Select it to hear some commentary from Walt and the Silly Symphony "The Old Mill"
(The Old Mill is also listed in the menu, but you will have to use the egg to hear Walt's commentary)

On Disc One, select Captions in the main menu. Then, highlight and select the baby to the left of the word None standing by himself with his back to you and holding a flower. Then, you will see an introduction by Walt Disney and the fourth Three Little Pigs cartoon Practical Pig. Enjoy!

From Main Menu select "Accent on Music"
- From "Music Land" go left to highlight the hat on the clarinet.
- Select this to hear some commentary from Walt, and the Silly Symphony "Farmyard Symphony"

- Select "Fables and Fairy Tales"
- Select "More"
- Go down to "Lullaby Land"
- Go left to highlight the sword.
Hear some commentary from Walt, and the Silly Symphony "Water Babies"

On the Main Menu of Disk 1, hit the up arrow when 'Fables and Fairy Tales' is highlighted. This will light up the second 'S' in the Silly Symphonies. Hit Enter, and Walt Disney will introduce 'The Grass-hopper and the Ant' cartoon.

- Select "Leonard's Picks"
- Go up to "Main Menu"
- Go up one more to highlight "Leonard"
- Select it to hear some commentary from Walt and the Silly Symphony "Wynken, Blynken & Nod"
("Wynken, Blynken & Nod" is also listed in the menu, but the commentary from the menu selection is shorter and from Leonard instead of Walt.)

Select "Favorite Characters"
- From "The Wise Little Hen" go up to a little chick
- Select it to hear some commentary from Walt, then watch "Who Killed C*ck Robin"


Disney Treasures- Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 2 - Standard Oil Plug
On the first disc click on special features and click down towards Mickey and the beanstalk, just before you hit that, a music note will be highlighted, click on it to see an approx 7 min long film, advertising a joint advertsing campaign between Standard Oil and Walt Disney


Disney Treasures: Davy Crockett - Fess Parker Sings "Davy Crockett"
- From Main Menu select "Supplemental Features"
- Go down to "A Conversation with Fess Parker"
- Go right to highlight Davy Crockett's coon-skin cap
- Select it to watch a clip of young Fess Parker singing the Davy Crockett song.


Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse in Living Color - Mickey Commentary
- From Main Menu, Highlight "Play All"
- go Right to highlight Mickey's head
- Select it to hear some commentary from Walt

Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse in Living Color - Extra Cartoons and Features Hidden in Sub-Menus, Comprehensive Details
These descriptions assume a computer by telling you where to click, but you can access it with your DVD Player remote arrow buttons as well.
This is an excellent 2-disc set, in beautiful packaging. In 1935 Mickey Mouse first hit the silver screen in color. Including every Mickey Mouse theatrical release from 1935 until 1938, this set is fun for all ages!
The back of the DVD says 26 cartoons. Counting the bonus cartoons, there's a total of 31 cartoons. That count is including the 3 pencil versions and the parade segment.
Disc 1 (14 cartoons and Walt Disney bonus segment; bonus parade segment, 3 bonus pencil versions)
- Opening Menu: Click Mickey's head (bonus segment: Walt Disney talks about the history and character of Mickey Mouse)
- 1935: Click on "Pencil Tests," and after a brief introductory segment, you'll get a menu to access three complete Mickey cartoons in their pencil screenings, before they were colored (bonus cartoons: "Mickey's Fire Brigade," "Pluto's Judgement Day," "On Ice")
Disc 2 (12 cartoons and 1 bonus cartoon; "Mickey In Living Color" mini-documentary/DVD credits, image gallery)
- Opening Menu: Click on "Mouse" (bonus cartoon (1937): "Mickey's Surprise Party")

Little Mermaid, The - Three Easter Eggs
On Disc Two of The Little Mermaid Special Edition DVD, go to the "Backstage Disney" Menu. Once you are there, click on the "Treasures Untold: The Making of the Little Mermaid" menu. The first easter egg is next to "Act II: A Symphony of Talent." Press left on the DVD remote, and you should find a dinglehopper (fork) highlighted. Click it, and you'll find the co-directors drawing characatures of each other.
The second egg on that menu is found by going to Act IV and hitting the 'right' arrow on your remote. This will highlight a snarfblatt (pipe). This will show you information about the models used to draw Ursula and Ariel.
Lastly, go down to "Backstage Disney" and hit your right arrow key. An anchor should appear, and give you information on the secret Little Mermaid handshake.

Cars - Boundin' with Mater and Lightning Mcqueen
Let the DVD sit on the Menu screen and cycle through the animation and music for 5 turns. When it is ready a Dinoco image will appear in the bottom right corner. Click on this to see Mater and Lightning McQueen at a drive-in watching a version of Boundin', the Pixar short featured on the Incredibles DVD, featuring themselves.

Cars - New Toy
1) Put the Cars disc into your DVD player
2) Go to Special Features
3) Highlight "Motorama Girls"
4) Press right to highlight a Mater silhouette in the top right corner
5) click it
6) Watch the short film of Larry the Cable Guy playing with a Mater Toy


Chicken Little - Foxy Loxy
From the main menu, highlight play and press right.
A blue hexagon appears highlighted.
Press enter to see Foxy Loxy talking about Chicken Little.


Chicken Little - Fish And Runt Intro
Go to the bonus Menu on the DVD. Go down to the Music & More feature and then arrow over to the right with your remote and the shape will highlight and then press enter to select it.
What you get to see is Fish and Runt doing a little introduction for the movie.


Dinotopia - Original Dinotopia
There are several secret video sequences hidden on both discs. These are the ones I have found. Disc 1
Go to "special/bonus features". The screen will say something to the effect that these features are available on disc 2. Push up and you will be treated to some claymation from an old dinosaur movie set to music.
Disc 2
Go to "special features" and select the Dinotopia Tour. Push up so the title "Dinotopia" is highlighted. Push up and get more claymation of a T-rex battling a Triceratops.
Finish the maze game and get rewarded with more vintage Dino footage!


Ella Enchanted - Hidden Faces
1. Go to the 'special features'
2. Go to 'Prince Charmonts fan club'
3. press the left arrow and it should select a button on the bottom of the heart with Char's face in it.
4. press enter and you will be shown hidden faces throughout the movie.

Finding Nemo - AS2K3
Go to bonus features screen arrow down to curved arrow, press down, a green fish will appear on top right hand side, press enter or play, a simulated commercial for the Aqua Scum 2003 will play.

Finding Nemo - Bruce's Oath
On Finding Nemo Disc 1, select Bonus Features. Highlight the fish in the TV on the lower left. Press the left arrow and a new fish will appear on the right side of the screen. Hit enter and you will hear Bruceís oath.


Finding Nemo - Dory & Bruce
Go to bonus features, then visual comentary, while on the fish that looks like its in the tv press up, a green fish will appear press play or enter a short egg with Dory and Bruce will play.

Finding Nemo - Dory & Marlin
On disk one go to bonus features, highlight the arrow at bottom of screen then press down, a green egg will pop, up press enter or play, a short egg with dory and marlin will play.

Finding Nemo - Bruce's Life Lesson
Go to the set-up menu.
highlight "Languages"
hit the left arrow button on the controller
or hit the #6 on your controller.
you get a vocal track by Bruce the Shark

Finding Nemo - Watch Something
Go to bonus features. Go to Visual Commentary Includes deleted Scenes. Next go to Visual Commentary Index. High light Play All and press the left button. A fish will appear click on the fish and you will hear a quick speech from Bruce.


Finding Nemo - Dory & Marlin Again
Go to bonus features then to Mr Ray's Encyclopedia, at curved arrow press down a green fish will appear at top, press enter or play, a short egg will play with Dory and Marlin.


Finding Nemo - I'm Trapped in Your TV!
Hilite and enter Special Features.
Hilite Studio Tours and push UP on directional button. This will enlighten an invisible fish.
Hilite and enter the fish for a quicky video.


Finding Nemo - The Extras to Click (Two Disk Collector's on Ly!)
1. Go to Bonus Features. (Either disk will do, they both have one in the exact same spot.)
2. Click until you are at the "Go Back" Arrow.
3. Click down. Now you should see a fish highlighted. Click it.
4. The bonus will play.

Finding Nemo - Ray Encyclopedia Dory
First enter the speicial feature's menu then enter rays encyclopedia go to the back arrow and press down on your remote control a green fish will appear select enter and you will see a small clip of dory.
